Okay, so 11 wasn't my greatest year... While I did manage to get laid the circumstances weren't the greatest (with the exception of one and you know who you are). I had a girlfriend for all of 10 days or were it 11?
I'm still liking the new job, I did get a raise back in November that was unattached to the annual raises/bonuses that everyone else got. Wasn't just me... all management support got to wait til July for our bonus or were it raise?
I got talked into making a canopy for a pontoon boat. It'll be the first and the last one I make.
Wait... did I get off track? Wait... there was track?
I'm going to unleash my inner geek soon. There may be pictures. I don't know how hard that is going to be. I'm a social chameleon. I know just enough about cars and guns to hang with the red necks, smart enough to hang with intellectuals, just active enough to talk work outs with the gym goers. One of my best friends describes me as cultured with a side order of grits.
I would have been considered "Other" in high school. Too cool to be a nerd, too much a geek to be a jock, not nifty enough to hang with the cool kids. Our "Other" crowd was JROTC. BooYah!
So... I'm going to try to hang with the Comicon type folks without being totally in their category. I read a few comics when I was a kid but I don't quite have the intimate knowledge these folks have. My nerdiness may still reek of natty lite and redneckery....

Whatever happens I am sooooo going to live 2012....
I even bought myself a gifty or three for my birthsday my precioussssssss... it's under two weeks away... I haven't bought myself a non prctical gift in a smll slice of forever. This bodes well in an ominous fashion...
Now I just got to get this damned canopy out of my way so I can start project Freaks'N'Geeks....
